 The General Department of Criminal Investigations has closed the files of almost 14 fraud and swindling cases worth KD 200,000 involving a bedoun. A security source said the suspect was caught by the Hawalli plainclothesmen following secret information that the suspect who claims to a citizen of a GCC country was swindling VIPs. During interrogation the suspect is said to have admitted to luring his victims by offering them investment opportunities and collecting large sums of money.
