Cid Arrested 31,000 Individuals Who Were Wanted By Law For Various Cases

Officers from the Criminal Investigations Department arrested 31,000 individuals who were wanted by law for various cases since the beginning of 2017 until Dec 31, reports Al-Qabas daily quoting informed sources.

They explained that 240 of these arrested individuals were issued sentenced in absentia, 270 were involved in armed robbery cases which have become widespread lately particularly in places occupied mainly by bachelors and 145 expatriates of various nationalities were involved in 130 cases.

The sources said the detectives managed to arrest all those who are involved in murder cases such that there are no open murder cases filed against unknown suspects this year.
