Cid Arrested A Bedoun Man Identified As W.a. For Trafficking In Alcohol

Acting on information and armed with a warrant issued from the Public Prosecution, officers from the Criminal Investigation Department arrested a Bedoun man identified as W.A. for trafficking in alcohol, reports Al-Anba daily.

The suspect was put under surveillance for some time pending intensive investigations on his activities. He had kept bottles of imported alcohol hidden inside a car parked in front of his house at Da’iya.

Detectives nailed him while he was trying to take out some bottles of liquor from the car, and they confiscated 100 bottles of the contraband including, Black and Red Label whisky, Cognac, Vodka and other varieties of alcohol. The officers seized KD 920 from the suspect before referring him with the contraband to the relevant authority.
