Charities Start Distributing Meals To Fasting Muslims

04 April 2022 Kuwait

On the first day of Ramadan, charities competed to serve Iftar meals to the less fortunate fasting people in a number of population density sites where expatriate workers live in various regions of Kuwait, proving that Kuwait is a land of goodness.

During the Corona pandemic, it appears that the practice of setting up 'iftar tables' next to mosques and in open areas vanished, and despite the strict requirements for setting up these tables in mosques, charities continued to distribute individual meals to fasting people in several areas with a high density of workers, according to a local Arabic daily.

The daily followed the distribution of iftar by a number of humanitarian organizations for fasting persons in districts such as Mahboula, Mangaf, Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh, as well as the capital and other locations. The number of employees outnumbers the number of meals served.
