Ceo Has Asked The Interpol To Issue A Warrant On Fintas Group Fugitives
The Criminal Enforcement Office has asked the INTERPOL to issue a warrant for the arrest of the fugitives of the “Fintas Group” and extradite them to Kuwait in order for them to serve their five-year jail terms.
The Court of Cassation had overturned the appeals of these defendants, namely Sheikh Athbi Al- Fahd, Ahmad Al-Salman, Khalifa Al-Khalifa, Lawyer Falah Al-Hajraf and Lawyer Abdulmohsen Al-Etaqi because they did not attend the court session at the Court of Appeals.
Their absentia meant the verdict issued by the court for five-year jail term issued against them for broadcasting false news and publishing a fabricated video clip contrary to the truth about the Head of the Supreme Judicial Council Judge Yousef Al-Mutaweh was upheld.
sources revealed that the Public Prosecution received a complaint from Judge Yousef Al-Mutaweh, on behalf of the judiciary, and another from the judges of the Court of Appeals, who ruled in the “Abdali Cell” case, against the owner of a fake account on Twitter, accusing him of publishing false news that undermine the reputation of judges and abuse them.
The sources indicated that the General Public Prosecutor Counselor Dherar Al-Asousi referred the two reports for investigations. They stressed that the Public Prosecution has asked the Cybercrimes Investigation Department at Ministry of Interior to conduct investigations and arrest the owner of this account and bring him to justice, as well as to hear the statement of the officer of this case.
