Cbse Class 12 Board Exams Postponed, Class 10 Exams Cancelled

The CBSE Board Exams for Class 10 have been cancelled and Class 12 board exams have been postponed. The decision comes soon after Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a meeting with education minister and other top officials amid growing concern about students health.

"The Board Exams for Class XIIth to be held from May 4th to June, 14th, 2021 are hereby postponed. These exams will be held hereafter. The situation will be reviewed on 1st June 2021 by the Board, and details will be shared subsequently. A notice of at least 15 days will be given before the start of the examinations," an order said.

According to latest updates, Students of Class 10 to be promoted on basis of internal assessment. If a student is not satisfied with the assessment then he/she can appear for the examination once the situation (Covid-19) is normal

Any candidate who is not satisfied with the marks allocated to him/her on this basis will be given an opportunity to sit in an exam as and when the conditions are conducive to hold the exams.

The situation will be reviewed on 1st June 2021 by the Board, and details will be shared subsequently. A notice of at least 15 days will be given before the start of the examinations.
