Catp Is Urgently Seeking Review Of Jaber Bridge Documents

The Central Agency for Public Tenders (CAPT) is urgently seeking to obtain documents dating back to 2010 from the warehouses of the Secretariat General of the Council of Ministers concerning the design, establishment and completion tender of the Jaber Bridge, reports Al-Rai daily.

The move follows a report published by the Al Rai daily on July 21, 2010 about a direct contract in the Ministry of Public Works worth 50 million dinars concerning approval by the CTC of the ministry proceeding to directly negotiate with Hyundai Construction for the operation and maintenance of the bridge, despite rejecting the contract request of 50.5 million dinars two weeks before its approval, which the ministry considered preliminary approval of the contract, although CTC had requested to review the documents after the negotiation procedures but this did not happen.
