Ahmadi Traffic Department launched traffic campaigns throughout the country yesterday morning with the aim of following up those who have been driving recklessly as part of New Year celebrations.
In a press release, Ministry of Interior explained that the campaign was launched after the number plates of the vehicles, which were driven recklessly, were noted. Their locations were tracked and placed under observation.
During the campaign, a number of sports cars were seized and referred to the seized vehicle garage for necessary legal action. General Traffic Department has affirmed that such traffic campaigns will continue, and those who drive recklessly and do not abide by the traffic rules and regulations will face legal action.
