Captagon Pills Smuggling Bid Foiled By Saudi Arabia

More than 141,000 Captagon pills were seized from travelers who intended to perform Umrah in Saudi Arabia after they were caught smuggling them.

At the Haditha port, the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority prevented yet another attempt to smuggle pills, reports the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

Two passengers, who came into the Kingdom by bus through Al-Haditha port, were found carrying 141,831 Captagon pills. The pills were hidden in an artistic way in plastic gallons filled with olive oil. The gallons contained olive oil and plastic gallons containing the pills.
