Cannabis Seeds May Be Available Inside The Feeder

The Ministry of Interior has expressed concern that ‘cannabis seeds’ may be available inside the ‘feeder’ shops in Al-Rai markets because these seeds are classified as drugs and a decision was issued two years ago to ban the entry of this product into Kuwait, Kuwait, reports Al-Rai daily.

According to one official in the Kuwait Municipality the Interior Ministry undersecretary has informed the Municipality about the possible sale of these imported seeds in Al-Rai markets, which can be planted to extract drugs. The same source said the Municipality is not competent to identify the quality of these seeds or examining them and pointed out a team comprising members from the Kuwait Municipality, the Public Authority for Agricultural Affairs and Fish Resources, the General Department for Drugs Control will organize inspection campaigns and appropriate measures will be taken against the shops in accordance with the laws and regulations.

Meanwhile, security forces at the Cairo International Airport recently foiled the attempt of an Egyptian passenger to smuggle narcotic pills into Kuwait, reports Al-Rai daily. The daily added, the suspect had hidden Tramadol pills in one of his bags. The pills and the suspect have been referred to the Public Prosecution.
