Cancellation Of 10,677 Work Permits For Expatriate Workers Within A Month

The Director of the Public Relations and Media Department, the spokesperson of the Public Authority for Manpower, Aseel Al-Mazyad, revealed, in a statement to Al-Anbaa, that 190,776 transactions have been completed for 47,759 companies that have benefited from “easier” services since the launch of the new system and 10,677 work permits have been canceled, including 54 transfers to the government sector and 4,024 A final cancellation of travel and 5,988 cancellations for the forfeiture of a worker’s residency abroad, and 439 work permits issued since January 24.

Al-Mazyer added that 884 national labor notifications were registered, 319 new files were opened for an employer, 2526 worker data certificates were issued, 35 civil contracts were registered with a license, 2 work permits were issued for Gulf workers, 4,465 national labor notifications were renewed, and 1,287 national labor certificates were issued.

Al-Mazyad indicated that 373 authorized signatories were registered, and 8 work permits were issued for unspecified nationalities, in addition to printing 1848 manpower statements, in addition to canceling 6 authorized signatories, updating 1083 and registering 5412 owned vehicles.
