Campaign On Salons, Health Clubs, Tailoring Shops, Wedding Parties Intensified
The women’s team of the Health Conditions Committee has intensified campaigns on salons, women’s health institutes, and tailoring shops in Al-Reggae, Dasman, Sabah Al-Salem, Al-Jahra, Al-Shaab, Jabriya, and other areas, in addition to continuing the follow-up on invitations and wedding parties and various events that necessitate gatherings in halls and hotels, reports Al-Qabas daily.
The Al-Qabas team accompanied the representative of the Public Authority for Manpower on its tour in the Jahra Governorate, where Engr Fatima Abdul- Malik ensured health requirements are adhered to especially in women’s activities. Abdul-Malik added since the start of the team’s work last August, it has visited more than 35,000 commercial establishments including tailoring shops, women’s salons, sports institutes and hotels, and recorded 5,000 citations. She indicated the team administratively closed five facilities on the spot, because of non-compliance with health regulations such as congestion and not abiding by the queue system and noncompliance with prior appointments.
