Kuwaiti political and parliamentary figures, as well as academics, have stressed the need to add Muslim Brotherhood groups to the terrorist list as they pose a serious threat to the country.
In a statement to Al Arabiya, Political Sciences Professor at Kuwait University, Dr Abdulla Al Ghanim said Islamists were on the point of ruining Kuwait during the so-called Arab revolutions. Their hidden intentions were revealed.
Muslim Brotherhood groups are active in Kuwait and nobody can deny it, he said. It is likely that members of the terrorist cell arrested recently in Kuwait entered the country with the help of the Muslim Brotherhood organisation which has political power in the country.
Meanwhile, in an interview with Al Arabiya, MP Ahmed Nabeel Al Fadhl urged to incriminate the organisation. “What are we waiting for?” he asked.
