Preventing

MP Hamad Rouhaldeen forwarded queries to Minister Oil and Higher Education Dr Muhammad Al-Fares about the scholarship plan of the College of Law at Kuwait University for academic year 2020/2021. The lawmaker said he received information that the Higher Committee at the college disregarded the results of the interviews conducted by the sub-committee in the Science Department, deleted the name of the applicant who obtained the highest mark, and changed the evaluation criteria — a violation of the relevant rules and regulations. He requested for details such as the names of the members of the Higher Committee and official who changed the criteria, particularly the decision to remove the master’s degree condition even if this is applied in all colleges at the university.
