Move To Transfer Free Zone To Private Property

The Committee in the Capital Municipal Council will discuss during its meeting next Monday under the chairmanship of Dr Hasan Kamal, the request to transfer the free zone in Shuwaikh to a private property, a multi-purpose commercial zone, reports Al-Anba daily.

The agenda includes the proposal submitted by member Dr Hasan Kamal the deduction of at least 4,000 square meters of a school to be used as a public park surrounded by a jogging track in the Da’iya residential area. Another proposal submitted by Hammoud Al-Enezi is about some traffic improvements in Jaber Al-Ahmad.

The construction department requested a multi-storey parking lot located between Al-Qena’i Mosque and the multi-storey parking lot of the stock exchange located in piece 1 in the East area within the city. The Capital Governorate Committee has requested a detailed study on the report submitted by the Competition Protection Authority.
