Burial Sites Specified For Muslim Expats

Director of Kuwait Municipality Eng Ahmad Al-Manfouhi has supported the proposal which was submitted by member Eng Hamoud Al- Anzi which calls for burial of expatriates in the governorate which they live in, which is to be determined by the address on the Civil ID, reports Al- Anba daily.

However, the non-Muslims are not covered by this proposal. They will continue to be buried at the Sulaibikhat cemetery. The burial of Muslim expatriates will be distributed in the following governorates: Hawally, Farwaniya and the Al- Jahra governorates will be buried in the Jahra cemetery while those living in the Capital governorate will be buried at the Sulaibikhat cemetery and those from Ahmadi and Mubarak Al-Kabeer in the Sabhan Cemetery
