Block On Seized Vehicles Not Removed Since Two Months

A number of individuals complained at Capital Traffic Department that blocks are being released only in the Capital Traffic Department even though there are investigation sections for violations in all traffic departments in other governorates and there are police officers of ranks “Colonel” and “Lieutenant Colonel” working there, reports Al-Seyassah daily.

One of the complainants revealed that he was issued a citation for reckless driving. When he went to Ahmadi Traffic Department, he was told that the application should be signed by the director general of General Traffic Department or the director of the violations department.

He insisted that, even though vehicles are seized for two months, facilities should be made in the relevant sections in all traffic departments in all governorates for automatic release of the block in order to reduce complaints from the visitors.
