Blasphemy Blogger Arrested At Kuwait International Airport

Upon arrival in Kuwait from overseas, Twitter user Sara Al-Drees was arrested at Kuwait International Airport, as an arrest order was issued against her for allegedly posting comments deemed offensive to Islam on her Twitter account.

According to sources, she had participated in a discussion on Twitter social networking website about one of the Prophet’s (PBUH) wives. During the discussion, she criticized an incident mentioned in some history books which, in her viewpoint, is used by DAESH as the basis for committing crimes.
