Biscuit Production Will Not Be Stopped By The Company

20 March 2022 Kuwait

Biscuit manufacture takes around 2.5 % of flour produced by Kuwait Flour Mills and Bakeries Company, according to the company, which plans to continue producing biscuits to meet consumer demand without sacrificing product quality.

According to a local Arabic newspaper citing business sources, the amount of flour used in biscuit production has little bearing on the company's resources.

The company officials did not intend to stop producing biscuits due to the pressures imposed by the Russian-Ukrainian crisis, according to the sources, noting that the strategic stock of wheat and flour, as well as the low percentage consumption of this commodity, does not necessitate stopping production of biscuits from the company's factory, which was established in 1970.
