01 January 2019 Crime News

The Court of Appeals has obliged the owner of a ladies beauty salon to pay KD 5,000 in compensation to a customer whose hair was damaged by harmful chemicals. The court held owner of the salon responsible for the products used by his employees. Apparently, the plaintiff had gone to the salon for hair coloring and suffered severe damage to the hair as indicated in the medical report she provided to support her claim. Attorney Dana Al-Ibrahim representing the plaintiff in court said it will take a long time for the damaged hair to self-repair. She went ahead to blame owner of the salon for the incident, citing Article 243 of civil law.
