Banks Will Be Closed From May 1 To May 4

Sheikha Al-Issa, the Federation of Kuwait Banks' Director of Public Relations, said that banks will be closed on Sunday, May 1, 2022, as a day of relaxation, as well as Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, from May 4 to 5, 2022, for the Eid Al-Fitr celebration.

Local banks are expected to open to the public on a limited scale on Thursday, May 5, 2022, at their respective headquarters and some of the principal branches in all governorates, and to resume normal operations on Sunday, May 8, 2022.

This is according to a circular released by Kuwait's Central Bank.
