Ban Sale Of Products Without Certificate Of Origin

The Minister of Commerce and Industry and Minister of State for Services Affairs Khalid Al-Roudhan has issued a decree to ban, promote or sell any products or goods without the certificate of origin (COO) which must clearly indicate the country of origin, certificate of origin, date of production and import which must also be approved by the Chamber of Commerce in the country of origin, ratified by the concerned authorities and the Kuwaiti consulate, reports Al-Anba daily.

The provisions of Article 1 in respect of imported goods and goods accompanied by certificates of country of origin shall be applied in accordance with the conditions referred to in the concerned Article (1).
