Kuwait Flour Mills and Bakeries Company prepared a comprehensive pre-emptive plan to contain any supply of its products, especially “bread” in new isolated areas such as Farwaniya, Khaitan and Hawalli, in addition to the Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh and Mahboula regions.

The sources revealed that its 8 bakery booths, including the “Khaitan Bakery”, will be open to the public from 7 am to 5 pm throughout the week. It indicated that supplying consumer cooperative societies, central markets and groceries in the isolation areas will be in accordance with its previous pre-emptive plans that the company prepared to work on in such circumstances.

With regard to cooperative societies in other regions that will return to the partial ban instead of the total, the sources stated that the company will work to provide the sales outlets of cooperative societies and its subsidiaries and other central markets with the company’s products during the midnight period, so that they are ready for sale in the morning to consumers.

The sources emphasized that the Kuwait Flour Mills and Bakeries Company continues to meet the requirements of consumers and provide all points of sale needs of all products that it manufactures, and is always ready to keep pace with any developments, according to contingency plans prepared for such conditions that were prepared before the current crisis.
