Bahrain Has Scrapped Its Pre-boarding Pcr Test As Of Friday

04 February 2022 International

As of Friday, Bahrain will no longer conduct pre-boarding PCR tests for
arrivals.

Bahrain Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications has stated
that as of Friday, February 4, all travellers arriving in the kingdom will no
longer be required to submit to a PCR test before boarding their flights.

They will, however, be required to undergo a PCR test once they arrive,
according to a statement released by Civil Aviation on Thursday. The
upgrade in protocols is based on recommendations from the National
Medical Taskforce for Combating Coronavirus (COVID-19). It was revealed
that unvaccinated visitors would be required to follow the applicable
precautionary quarantine procedures.
