Audit Bureau Regularly Examines Internal Supervision Systems And Regulations Applied At The Public Departments
The Audit Bureau regularly examines internal supervision systems and regulations applied at the public departments, affirmed a senior official of the bureau.
Hessa Al-Meshaan, the chief auditor, made the affirmation to KUNA, on Wednesday, after the bureau took part in the recent, third meeting of the team charged with assembling audit data of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), hosted by the Russian capital Moscow.
The Audit Bureau took part in the meeting for following up on an international project for assembling audit data.
The Kuwaiti delegation, during the meeting, proposed some changes in the proposed program for enhancing examination of procurements and sales.
The international project is forecast to see light by February 2018, to be effective by ISO no later than February 2019.
The meeting included delegations from China, Canada, the US, Malaysia, Romania, Holland, Japan, Thailand, France and Finland.
And, as part of the efforts exerted by the Retiree Welfare Department of General Department for Citizenship and Travel Document Affairs to organize meetings at the retirees’ diwaniya every Tuesday, the diwaniya received a number of retired officers on Tuesday, Aug 1, reports Al-Seyassah daily.
Director of the General Department of Service Centers Major General Adeeb Al-Suwaidan was present at the diwaniya along with Lieutenant Colonel Saif Ajab Al-Mutairi.
Major General Al-Suwaidan welcomed the attendees, affirming that the services provided by the diwaniya are based on directives of the supreme security leadership. He also highlighted the keenness of the state to offer utmost care to retirees.
In response, the attendees expressed gratitude and appreciation to the security leadership, especially for the facilities offered to them with the aim of ensuring their transactions are completed easily and quickly.
