The Court of Appeals cancelled the decision of a lower court, which sentenced a former international athlete to three years in prison for visa trading, human trafficking, and forcing expatriates to work against their will. The higher court confirmed the innocence of the defendant. Earlier, the Public Prosecution charged the defendant and others with trafficking in persons, indicating they carried out their illegal recruitment operations in a company managed by one of the accused.
