Astrazeneca Vaccine May Arrive Between May 20 And May 25

The Ministry of Health has prepared an integrated plan to deal with the delay in the supply of vaccines, health sources said that the third batch of the AstraZeneca vaccine is scheduled to arrive in the country between May 20 and May 25,  Al-Rai reported.

The sources pointed out to the daily that the Ministry has fulfilled all the obligations on its part, delay is on the manufacturer’s end, noting that the batches of the Pfizer vaccine arrive consecutively, on a weekly basis, on time.

Dr. Mona Al-Ahmad, a member of the Covid-19 vaccine committee explained that the ministry has developed an action plan and an integrated protocol in the event of a delay in the supply of vaccines.
