Asian Expatriate Arrested For Drug Peddling

Officers from the Criminal Security Department apprehended an Asian expatriate for peddling in illicit drugs.

Apparently, the anti-narcotics unit received information about the activities of the suspect and formed a team of detectives to verify the information. Guarded by search and arrest warrant, security operatives raided his apartment in Farwaniya area and recovered 3kg of heroin. The suspect acknowledged peddling in narcotics. He was referred to Drug Prosecution.
