An Asian expatriate, who was seen insulting Kuwaiti people in a video that went viral on social media, was arrested along with four violators of residency law.
In a press release issued by Ministry of Interior, the General Department for Public Relations and Security Media explained that Hawally securitymen, after coming across the video clip, rushed to Nugra area to arrest the suspect.
They discovered that he was with four other expatriates who were in violation of the residency law, and they were cleaning vehicles in exchange for wages.
All suspects were arrested and referred for deportation. Necessary action will be taken against their sponsors in line with the law.
