Arab National Jailed For Five Years Over Fake Degree Scam

An Egyptian national working with the Ministry of Higher Education has been sentenced to five years in jail for his involvement in the academic degree scam.

A Kuwaiti national citizen who secured a public prosecution job using a fake degree has also been sentenced to five years in prison, reported Al Qabas.

The ministry announced last July that it had discovered a number of fake university degrees issued in an Arab country.
