Approving Expats’ Educational Qualifications If Work Permit Is Renewed

The Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) announced the necessity of approving the educational qualifications as a condition for expatriate workers to renew work permits, Al Qabas daily.

While reviewing the new Ashal program system, the authority stressed the need for business owners to apply through the program to request qualification accreditation for employees. PAM excludes engineers who have obtained an accreditation certificate from the Kuwait Society of Engineers or the Medical Licensing Department of the Ministry of Health.

It called on business owners and companies to submit a true copy of the university qualifications through the system that is easy.
