Approved Vaccines Effective Against Mutated Strains Of Coronavirus

The emergence of the mutated strains of the coronavirus questions the effectiveness of approved vaccines against these mutations. A number of doctors and pharmacologists confirmed the Pfizer and Oxford vaccines approved in Kuwait are effective against the new virus strains, Al Qabas reported.

Accelerating the speed of vaccination is the best solution to deal with the new mutations. Doctors also stressed the need to reject the rumors circulating on social media about the safety and effectiveness of vaccinations.

They reiterated that the currently approved vaccinations, whose studies have been published internationally in accredited scientific journals, are safe and effective, noting that the two vaccines available in Kuwait are effective against all mutated and emerging strains.
