An Ethiopian Woman Arrested, Running Fake Office

The Farwaniya police have taken into custody an unidentified Ethiopian woman for running an illusory maids recruiting office and helping runaway maids get jobs with Kuwaiti families, reports Al- Anba daily. The daily added, the arrest came after a Kuwaiti who hired a maid from this office filed a complaint with the police when his maid escaped after receiving one month salary. He told police he paid the office KD 400 and securitymen went to the office they saw the place vacant. Police then set a trap for the suspect and caught her when she returned to the office. In the office police found KD 545, and receipts.
