An Egyptian Director Arrested For Forgeing Sponsor Sign To Get Visas For Over 60 Staff

Personnel from the Residence Affairs Department have arrested an unidentified Egyptian Director of Administrative Affairs of a company for forging the signature of the sponsor of the company to grant residence permit for 61 workers, reports Al-Rai daily.

The man was arrested following a tip-off by a secret agent. It has been reported when the authorities summoned the sponsor of the company, he denied signing the transactions.

The Egyptian also denied the charge but when he was confronted with the evidence, he admitted to the charge. According to a reliable source the Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of the Interior for Citizenship and Passports Affairs Major-General Sheikh Mazen Al-Jarrah there is a tendency to open Investigation Affairs offices in all the governorates to put an end to forgeries.
