An Egyptian And A Kuwaiti Were Arrested For Trafficking In Drugs

An Egyptian and a Kuwaiti were arrested for trafficking in drugs. In a press statement, the Interior Ministry revealed its Operations Unit received information about an Egyptian selling chemical substance at KD 50 per kilogram. A security team put the suspect under surveillance and after verifying the information, they arranged an entrapment which led to the arrest of the Egyptian and his companion — a Kuwaiti. When the officers searched the two suspects, they found five kilograms of a certain narcotic substance, 400 grams of a powder included on the list of intoxicants and is being used for manufacturing a chemical substance and 1,200 packs of narcotics ready for sale. During interrogation, the suspects confessed that they are trading in drugs so they were referred to the relevant security department along with the confiscated narcotics.
