Amir Patronizes Opening Of Al-shaheed Parks 2nd Phase

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah patronized and attended Wednesday the opening of the second phase of Al-Shaheed Park which is located in Sharq area.

Accompanied by His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf AlAhmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Amir was received at the park by Deputy Minister of the Amiri Diwan Sheikh Ali Jarrah Al-Sabah and top executive at the Amiri Diwan Abdulaziz Saud Ishaq.

After the initial ceremony, His Highness the Amir and the accompanying delegation took a tour of the park’s second phase facilities. His Highness the Amir was accompanied by Sheikh Jaber Al-Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Sheikh Faisal Al-Mohammad AlSabah, His Highness Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad AlSabah, and senior officials of the State.

His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad and His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad were given presents during their tour of the park

Al-Shaheed Park 2 includes various facilities covering an area of about 100 square meters, with an extraordinary design, a waterfall across it, in addition to a fountain and a lake. It also has restaurants and coffee shops where visitors can enjoy their time, besides a wide hall for about 500 people, a walking-track and a car park with the capacity of 970 vehicles.

A part of the Park was designed to represent Kuwait in the past and the present so that visitors can get acquainted with the old and the modern architecture through the different eras in Kuwait’s history.
