Ambassador Discussed Indian Expats Issues With Jail Authorities.

Indian Ambassador to Kuwait Sri Sibi George met with Assistant Under-Secretary for Reforms Institutions His Excellency Maj Gen Talal Marafi and discussed diaspora matters related to teh Indian expatriates in Kuwait. Senior officers from the Ministry of Interior and Jail authorities attend the meeting along with other Embassy officials.

Both sides discussed diaspora matters, including the possible transfer of sentenced persons, among others. A number of Indian nationals are currently in Kuwait jail for various offences.

Both sides agreed to hold regular meetings at the level of senior officers.
