The Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah received Jean-Philippe Courtois, Executive Vice President and President of Microsoft Global Sales, Marketing, and Operations, on Monday as a representative of His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

It was attended by Sheikh Dr. Mishal Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Director General of the Direct Investment Promotion Authority, Ambassador Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Undersecretary of the Prime Minister's Office, Sheikh Khaled Talal Al-Khaled Al-Sabah, as well as Director of His Highness the Prime Minister's Office, Hamad Al-Amer.

In the meeting, views on how to create a digital infrastructure capable of attracting investment assets and creating an environment of pioneering and distinguished business that contributes to the development of the national economy were exchanged, along with the country's development plan for digital transformation and artificial intelligence solutions.

The Chief Investment Officer of Alphabet and Google, Ruth Porat, and her delegation were also received by His Highness. Kuwait and Google Cloud discussed developments in their collaboration following the recent signing of a strategic partnership agreement to support digital transformation in Kuwait.
