Almost Empty Restaurants And Cafes On The First Day Of Implementing The Decision To Prevent Entry To Non-vaccinated People
On the first day of implementing the decision to prevent novaccinated from entering cafes and restaurants, many restaurants and cafes seemed almost empty of customers inside, while they adhered to the government decision.
One of the workers in a cafe in the “Marina” complex explained that he had not witnessed such calmness for 3 years, believing that the reason was the high temperature today.
He added that there were hotter days, but things did not reach this point.
In turn, the main partner in the Mughal Mahal Restaurants Company, Ashok Kalra, confirmed that all branches of the restaurant in all Kuwaiti regions are committed to the decisions approved by the Kuwaiti government in order to preserve the health of citizens and residents in Kuwait, pointing out that a mechanism has been established to audit all their customers before entering To make sure they get the vaccine.
He added that it is a government decision that is respected and implemented, but if we look at the economic aspect, the restaurant sector will suffer a loss because the families who attend the restaurant, some of their members are not vaccinated, and when it is prevented, the family refuses to enter and this is what we witnessed today, stressing that he gave instructions to all his employees to abide by the government decision because it is a matter of public health.
