Almost A Million People Receive A Booster Dose Of Covid-19

A decrease in Corona infection rates has been achieved due to preventive measures taken by the country. A number of factors contributed to the decline in occurrence of these diseases, including the increase in vaccination rates, which reached about 85% of the total population eligible for anti-epidemic vaccinations, as well as increased health awareness and avoiding contact with infected people.

According to health sources, at least 917,900 people have received the third booster dose thus far, while 3,277,024 people have already received the two previously administered doses, as the vaccination campaign continues at the Mishref Vaccination Center and other health clinics with the aim of hitting campaign targets as soon as possible.

In comparison to the infection rates recorded in January and February last year, there was a noticeable decrease in infection rates during the week, and the recovery rate rose to 98.8% on Saturday, despite a drop in the hospitalization rate for Covid patients when compared to 30 days ago.
