Al-manfouhi: Using The Military To Implement The Decision To Enter Complexes, Restaurants And Health Institutes
The Main Committee to monitor the implementation of the requirements related to combating the spread of the Corona virus (Covid-19) said that it will work to implement the cabinet decision, starting next Sunday, regarding allowing recipients of the anti-Corona vaccine and groups exempted from receiving the vaccine to enter commercial complexes with an area of more than 6,000 square meters. And halls of restaurants, cafes, health clubs and salons.
Deputy Chairman of the Committee and Director General of Kuwait Municipality Ahmed Al-Manfouhi added in a statement after the committee meeting today, Wednesday, that the field teams of the concerned government agencies will be present at the entrances to the malls to allow citizens and residents who have taken one or two doses of the vaccine to enter only, in cooperation and coordination with the owners of the malls.
He explained that citizens and residents must download the (My Identity) application issued by the Public Authority for Civil Information or the (Manna) application issued by the Ministry of Health on their smart phones and show this to the field teams in the malls to be allowed to enter.
He indicated that the field teams will continue their field visits to restaurants, cafes, health clubs, and women’s and men’s salons to ensure that all visitors to these places apply health requirements and those who have taken the approved vaccine in Kuwait.
Al-Manfouhi called on everyone to extend a hand of cooperation with field teams by committing to implementing the cabinet decision in order to prevent and preserve the health and safety of shopping mall visitors and prevent the spread of the Corona virus.
He praised the work and effort made by all concerned government agencies to implement the decisions of the Council of Ministers with the aim of achieving community immunity by increasing the proportion of vaccinated citizens and residents inside Kuwait and reducing pressure on the health system in the country.
For his part, Director of Information Systems Department at the Ministry of Health, Ahmed Al-Gharib, said that the department has prepared and activated the application of the (immunity) program to facilitate the citizen and resident access to take the approved vaccine in Kuwait, whether one dose or two doses.
Al-Gharib explained that “there are three categories registered in the application of immunity, the first in green for everyone who received two doses of the vaccine and 14 days have passed, and the second category in yellow for everyone who received one dose of the vaccine or had an infection with the Corona virus and 10 days passed after infection for a period of 90 days As for the third category, it is in red for everyone who has not received the vaccine or has an infection with the Corona virus.”
And he indicated that “the Ministry of Health has introduced a new feature in the Immunity application that allows its users to view the results of the PCR smears, as the date of the last three months will appear for the results of the smears carried out by each person.”
He stated that the application of the (Immunity) program and the (My Identity) program issued by the Civil Information Authority will enable the field teams of the concerned government agencies to ensure that citizens and residents receive the Corona vaccine to implement the Cabinet decision.
Last Thursday, the Council of Ministers took a decision to allow those who have been vaccinated against the Corona virus and groups who are exempt from receiving the vaccine to enter the halls of restaurants and cafes (only those who are not immunized are allowed to receive applications), health clubs, salons, and commercial complexes with an area of more than 6,000 square meters.
