All Health Restrictions Are Cancelled; Masks Is Optional

27 April 2022 Coronavirus

As a result of today's meeting of the Kuwaiti Cabinet, the majority of health regulations related to Corona were canceled, including the mask requirement.

Currently, wearing a mask at open and closed areas is optional, and it is mandatory for anyone experiencing symptoms.

Furthermore, Cabinet approved the entry of individuals into closed public places regardless of immunization status and without a PCR test.

The PCR examination for unvaccinated persons has been canceled in order to maintain their presence in educational institutes and workplaces.

Infected individuals must stay at home for five days after infection, and a mask must be worn for five additional days.

All foreigners, whether or not they have been vaccinated, will no longer be required to undergo the PCR test to confirm their vaccination status.

There is no restriction on who can attend the stadium based on their vaccination status, and the "Shlonak" application only follows up on verified positive cases.
