Al-fadhel Affirmed The Importance Of Addressing Issue Related To Protection Of Commercial Competition Vital

MP Ahmed Al-Fadhel affirmed to the National Assembly the importance of addressing the issue related to protection of commercial competition in the upcoming legislative round and putting an end to the increasing reports of monopoly in various industries.

He said the Parliament received last April a proposal that would grant the concerned authority more liberty in regulating the markets, and therefore increasing its capacity to enforce the law. The MP assured his support for any initiative aimed at protecting competition, adding that he does not oppose foreign investments as long as they do not harm the smaller businesses.
