AIRSTRIKES IN MARAWI TO CONTINUE AMID RAMADAN

Philippine security forces dropped more bombs on Saturday on a southern city where they have been battling militants for five days, vowing no let up despite the start of Ramadan.
about 30 civilian workers asked for an immediate rescue as they were surrounded Saturday by the Maute militants in Marawi City, Lanao del Sur.
The civilians called their families, asking for government forces to rescue them from the Maute militants.
