Hussein Al-Sulaiten, member of the Board of Directors of the Federation of Tourism and Travel Offices (FTTO) and the head of the media committee of the union, said in an exclusive statement to Al-Anba that the demand for travel from Kuwait has become less due to the start of the school year, reports Al-Anba daily. However, travel to destinations such as Turkey, Egypt and London are still the most sought after by travelers, he said. He added, the cost of Kuwait-Cairo-Kuwait will range between 130 and 160 dinars, which mean a decrease of 70 percent after topping 500 dinars at the beginning of the opening of direct flights between the two countries.

As for the one-way Cairo-Kuwait sector, Al-Sulaiten said the price will be between 200 and 320 dinars average, while the price for the ‘Kuwait-Dubai’ sector is between 190 and 210 dinars. Al-Sulaiten stated the ticket prices will drop further once the Directorate-General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) increases the passengers’ arrival capacity.
