Afghani Arrested For Attempting To Smuggle 400 Narcotic Pills

An Afghani expatriate was arrested at Sa’ad Al-Abdullah Airport for attempting to smuggle 400 narcotic pills into Kuwait.

This arrest is the fourth of its kind made within 24 hours. According to a member of the Customs Media Committee Nawaf Al-Matar, the Customs officers noticed that the culprit was nervous upon arrival at the airport, so they decided to check him thoroughly. He was screened using an advanced technology machine that exposed the concealed illicit drugs.

Al-Matar commended the officers for their alertness and dedication to duty, warning criminal- minded people to stay away from the country to avoid arrest. The suspect was arrested and referred with the confiscated narcotic pills to the concerned authorities for legal procedures
