A Young Kuwaiti Arrested For Failing To Pay Kd 1,348, Debt

A 25-year-old young Kuwaiti has been arrested by police in downtown Kuwait City to serve a three month jail term, reports Al-Anba daily. According to the daily he was sentenced for failing to pay KD 1,348, debt. Police have also arrested another Kuwaiti for failing to pay worth KD 4,790 debt. Two other citizens were also taken into custody for the same reason – one failing to pay KD 3,500 and the other KD 2,063. They have been referred to the Sentences Enforcement Department.
