A Taxi Driver And An Ethiopian Woman Sought For Selling Two Maids To Asian Pimps

Police are looking for a taxi driver and an Ethiopian woman for kidnapping and selling two housemaids, a Sri Lankan and a Nepalese, to two Asian pimps. According to a security source the two domestic helpers had escaped from their sponsors in Fahaheel and the taxi driver reportedly promised to give them shelter but instead handed them over to the Ethiopian woman in Fintas and the latter made them virtual prisoners in her home. The two women later discovered they were sold to two pimps – an Indian and a Bangladeshi for KD 100 each following which they were taken to an apartment which was used for flesh pleasure. Without providing more details, police somehow managed to raid the apartment, arrested all the occupants of the apartment and handed them over to the Public Prosecution.
