The Egyptian who allegedly murdered his Filipino wife to death and fled to Cairo Sunday evening with his 16-year-old son and 17-year-old daughter, leaving his third son in a nursery, is being sought by Kuwaiti security services.

According to a local Arabic daily, Egypt and Kuwait have an extradition deal that allows criminals to be extradited between the two nations.

The event was discovered after the Egyptian, who was born in 1976, allegedly sent an audio message to an expatriate building caretaker informing the Ministry of Interior operations that his wife had died and that the body was inside the apartment.

He went on to say that as soon as the Ministry of Interior got the complaint, Ahmadi security personnel went to the flat, escorted by Colonel Omar Al-Rasheed, Director of Ahmadi Investigations, and discovered the Filipina dead. She was allegedly strangled to death as traces of suffocation were found on her neck. After then, the body was sent to Forensics.

According to the Ministry of the Interior, the criminal security sector is examining the circumstances surrounding the victim's death, but the couple's relationship was good, according to the testimony of the suspect's neighbors and other inhabitants of the building.
