A Kuwaiti Has Been Detained For Beating To Death His Filipino Maid

A Kuwaiti man, whose identity has not been disclosed, has been detained for interrogation for allegedly beating to death his Filipino maid, reports Al-Rai daily. As soon as the Operations Room of Interior Ministry received the information from the sponsor about the death, the Farwaniya police and paramedics rushed to the location and found the victim dead on the floor.

The corpse bore injuries on the body and head and when the police asked the Kuwaiti, he said, she just fell down and died.

When the Public Prosecution was informed of the incident, instructions were issued to arrest the man because a post mortem report showed she died of severe beating. During the initial investigation the sponsor admitted that she was careless with his children and tried to intoxicate them several times.
